About Amore Landmark
What is Amore Landmark?
Amore Landmark is a destination women's leadership institution — a six-floor, sea-view boutique retreat in Kigamboni, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. It combines leadership retreats, education programmes, conferences and accommodation under one roof.
Who is behind it?
Amore Landmark is founded by Gladness Yanquoi, founder of Iamwomanpreneur, with directors Moses Katega and Yvonne Boateng and Operations Director Alma Shabani.
Is it only for women?
Our programmes are designed for women leaders, entrepreneurs and professionals. Hosted conferences, partner events and accommodation are open to everyone.
When will it open?
We're currently in the Phase 1 raise, ahead of construction. Register your interest to be the first to hear about opening dates and founding retreats.
Retreats, stays & events
What happens on a retreat?
Retreats combine leadership and personal development programmes, workshops, coaching and wellness with a stay at the Landmark. We plan around eight signature retreats a year with cohorts of about 40 women.
Can I stay without joining a retreat?
Yes. Rooms and suites will be available to independent guests, conference delegates and leadership residents as well as retreat participants.
Can my organisation host an event at the Landmark?
Yes. Our ground-floor conference hall seats 100, with three workshop rooms, the Ladies Power Lounge, an event lawn, a sea-view event garden and a rooftop terrace. Enquire via the register-interest form.
What is IGOFC?
The International Gathering of Female Champions is our annual flagship event: global leadership panels, entrepreneurship showcases, investment networking and masterclasses. It will be hosted at Amore Landmark every year.
How do I get there?
Fly into Julius Nyerere International Airport (DAR) in Dar es Salaam. Kigamboni is linked to the city by the Nyerere Bridge and the Magogoni ferry. We'll help retreat and event guests with transfers.
Investment & partnership
How much is being raised?
Phase 1 is a $1M raise covering construction and furnishing (under $500K), landscaping, branding, launch marketing, staffing, project supervision and a working-capital reserve.
What are the investor structures?
The Phase 1 deck sets out two illustrative options — an equity stake, or a revenue share until an agreed multiple is returned. Full terms are in the investor pack and agreed individually.
How can I partner or sponsor?
We welcome partner organisations, sponsors and education partners. Tick “Partnership” on the register-interest form and our team will be in touch.
